Measures against incivility
Despite its peaceful aspect, the city of Tilloise does not escape some incivilitieslike those recently reported on Facebook : the watercourse is “taken for a garbage can” and the wooden fences have been degraded. In question: a biggest crowd during the summer period.
The city hall work with the police to resolve these malfunctions.
The objective is not to verbalize, but first to prevent. There is no intention to be reprehensible but educational.
Before adding that installing a CCTV system on the city nevertheless made it possible to reduce these incivilities. The mayor also signed a decree bathing ban in the river, following the fall of a child which required the arrival of help at the park of Seulles.
Work completed, in progress and to come
Recent work for the summer
Between the end of June and the beginning of July, the companies carried out work playground development of the Seulles and ofcar park extension. Access for people with reduced mobility (PRM) and pushchairs is also facilitated.
So that the heavy rains do not cause damage to local residents, the roads of Cristot and Balleroy have been developed. And finally, the parking platform on the Pont-Roch road has been enlarged so that vehicles which generally park on the side of the road can have a real car park, less dangerous. These works have been financed by the municipality.
The heart of town
At the end of July, a feedback meeting works to which the inhabitants were invited. If the guide plan is produced by a design office, the objective of these participatory workshops is to gather ideas of each to see the facilities that the people of Tillois need. Another meeting is planned by the end of the year with the traders, then a public meeting will take place to take stock.
Demolition of the retirement home and establishment of the gendarmerie
In the fall, the diagnosis of demolition of the old retirement home, in particular a study on materials such as asbestos or lead. The operation is launched in collaboration with EPFN (Public Land Establishment of Normandy), which finances 40% of the diagnosis. The Region also provides 40% of the financing, and the common 20%.
“It’s been two months since the various organizations started working on the gendarmerie file,” explains Didier Couillard.
Since the end of 2021, the competence of the municipal PLU has become intermunicipal. Indeed, in order for the plot chosen to be able to accommodate the gendarmerie, it must be converted into a project of general interest.
The CAUE (Council of architecture, town planning and the environment) is also working on the site in anticipation of a consultation file for the construction of the police station. Everything is designed to accommodate six constables, but can accommodate eight if necessary. The administrative building of the gendarmerie will be surrounded by suburban housing.
L’sports development space located near the college will be ready for the start of the school year, with the installation of nets on the goals of the football field and the installation of basketball boards.
Rehabilitation of the church and the bridge
Aided by the DRAC and institutional partners, the town hall is also planning work on the emblematic monuments of the city.
The church of Tilly-sur-Seulles must also be the subject of work. The architect Hervé Declomesnil has submitted his file, the work is estimated at €534,000 including tax. weakened by falling rocksthe bell tower in poor condition prevents the bells from ringing. It is part, with the choir, the nave, the sac ristie and the north and south transepts, of the parts to be renovated. The start of work is scheduled for early 2023.
the medieval bridge which connects Juvigny-sur-Seulles to Tilly-sur-Seulles also deserves renovation work. The two municipalities are working together to fix the vaults, batteries, eardrums, improve sealing and develop roads. The bridge being to classifyit’s about working with appropriate materialsand take into account the wildlife and the flora. The budget is estimated at €328,000 including VAT.
The planned enrollments in the two schools in the municipality remain constant, which allows them to operate optimally. In terms of leisure and entertainment, the Fête de la Madeleine, at the end of July, met with a big success with the fireworks. The implementation of the TAF (Tilly American Festival) in advance, the organizers communicate about the festival which will take place from September 16 to 18. Finally, at the beginning of September, on Saturday the 3rd exactly, will take place the intermunicipal forumorganized by the MJC at the multi-associative hall of Audrieu.
