The Wrexham Multi-Faith Community Forum will meet in town for the second time this month.
Formed in early February, the first meeting drew members from the town mosque, the Catholic Church, the Church of England and volunteers from the district branch of the Salvation Army.
Among the issues discussed by the panel at the inaugural meeting were mental health signage, homelessness, drug use, gold theft in Asia and CCTV coverage.
Wrexham Town Sergeant Dave Smith led the community engagement initiative and hopes to build on the forum’s positive start.
He said: “I felt like a lot of good ground was covered in the first session.
“Having the leaders of local faith groups come in to give insight into the issues that are of concern to the town was really helpful.
“They are respected people, who do a lot of good within the Wrexham community and it is great to have them on board.
“Some key issues were raised last time and I will seek to provide updates on these issues from a policing perspective.
“This project was all around us, as a force, reaching out to faith and community leaders to gain a better understanding of life in the city for residents of all backgrounds.
“We want this to be a long-term sustainable project and we hope our numbers will continue to increase in the weeks and months to come.”
The multi-faith community forum will be held at Wrexham Town Police Station, Rhosddu Road on Friday 22 April.
The one-hour session will begin at 3:00 p.m.
