Reflecting on a “productive” engagement session, Sgt Smith said, “I felt like a lot of good stuff was covered in this last meeting, especially around the ASB and its impact. harmful to communities.
“This community engagement initiative has given officers a better understanding of life in the city for residents from all walks of life.
“Tackling youth-related ASB remains a priority issue for North Wales Police and participants made it clear that it also remains a concern for people in their communities.
“The consensus within the group was that young people have limited services to use during the evenings.
“Facilities like youth clubs and sports associations are not as common as they used to be.
“As a result, teenagers hang out in the streets with little to do and may become involved in ASB and even other crimes.
