Mayor Mitch Roth will deliver a keynote address at an upcoming ShopBigIsland.com Business Forum and Workshop hosted by the Hawaii Island Visitors Bureau and the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce in Hilo.
The forum will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, August 25 at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. Registration is free on ShopBigIsland.com, but places are limited.
Businesses on the island of Hawaii have a new tool to help them promote their products and services. ShopBigIsland.com launched in 2021 as a free platform for businesses to share information and special offers and now includes additional platforms for free job and event postings. Because supporting local businesses is so important, especially right now, Hawai’i Roth is encouraging participation on the platform with a public service announcement and by sharing some remarks during the ShopBigIsland.com forum and marketing workshop on August 25.
The event is sponsored by the Hawaii Island Visitors Bureau and the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce and will include a marketing workshop featuring digiVortex Founder and CEO Doug Harris who will speak marketing best practices that grow local businesses.
