An investigation is underway after a mining worker from Victoria traveled to South Australia while infected with Covid.
A Jetstar flight, the adelaide airport, and the Quest Hotel on King Williams Street have all been declared hotspots.

The positive result appeared when the woman checked in at the Quest hotel, she was transferred to a medical hotel, where she is currently in isolation.
Health Director Nicola Spurrier treat her case as “high risk” as efforts continue to contact everyone on her flight.
“Just another reminder to South Australians, it’s very close to us, having an outbreak here in our state because we have Victoria and New South Wales, especially Victoria with very high cases, a lot of transmission. community, but still a very big risk for us in our state.
Health SA are working to tackle the spread of potential FIFO workers by introducing rapid antigen Covid testing at the airport by the end of the week.
It comes after another truck driver’s companion also tested positive, adding to the list of exposure sites.
