BERKELEY COUNTY, SC — Mobile broadband coverage has improved throughout Berkeley County, thanks to AT&T installing additional cell tower sites in the area over the past two years.

The sites enable improved mobile broadband coverage and faster, more reliable service for FirstNet subscribers and all AT&T customers, whether residential or business.

“Berkeley County is committed to improving the quality of life for our residents and the resources of our business community. Access to mobile broadband is essential in today’s world; therefore, improving cell phone service and connectivity across the county is only one way to meet this top priority,” said Berkeley County Supervisor Johnny Cribb.

Specifically, new mobile broadband sites have been added in Bonneau, Cross, Huger, Jamestown, Moncks Corner, North Charleston and St. Stephen. About 40 other sites across the county have received upgrades, allowing for additional capacity and faster speeds or greater capacity.
