IIT Madras U.S. Consulate General Chennai to Host Virtual Workshop to Help South Indian Educational Institutions Host U.S. Students

The aim is to strengthen the capacity of Indian institutions to support more American students coming to India to study abroad and to promote South India as a âStudy Abroadâ destination for students from the United States. American institutions.
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras, in association with the US Consulate General in Chennai, will organize a virtual workshop titled âDestination South Indiaâ to help build the capacity of educational institutions in South India to welcome American students.
It will be held from November 15-18, 2021 in conjunction with the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) and the Forum on Education Abroad.

The main objective of organizing this virtual workshop is to help educational institutions in South India to understand the expectations of American students, American and Indian institutions, and to establish study programs in the foreigner successful.
