The three Jefferson County commissioners will host a workshop on the 2022-2023 biennial budget and the American Rescue Plan Act when they meet at 9 a.m. on Monday.

Commissioners will also hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry, as well as an update on the Kate Dean Duckabush Estuary Bridge Restoration Project and conduct a review of the work plan for homelessness and affordable housing.

Items on the consent agenda include scheduling an ad valorem tax hearing at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15, an agreement regarding juvenile detention services, an agreement with the Ministry of Transportation of the State for $ 5,567,672 to replace the Little Quilcene River Bridge, an agreement for $ 1,663,750 to replace a culvert on Snow Creek Road, a loan guarantee of $ 378,000 for the Fort Worden Public Development Authority and an agreement $ 491,000 interlocal with the City of Port Townsend for criminal justice services.

Association of counties

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when it meets at noon Monday.

The counties of Clallam and Jefferson will participate.

The Jefferson County Citizen’s Oversight of Conservation Future Committee will continue discussion of its application process and the timing of the next funding cycle at a special meeting at 4 p.m. Monday.

Quilcene schools

The Quilcene School Board is expected to continue a discussion on obligations / levies in a working session at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Public services district

Jefferson County Public Service District Commissioners will meet in an executive session to assess and review a public employee’s performance and discuss the possible acquisition of real estate at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Commissioners will consider the adoption of the 2022 strategic plan and budget at a regular meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

College Peninsula

The Peninsula College Board of Trustees will solicit public input on developing a Presidential Profile at community forums at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
