Creative and Design Thinking workshop on robotics: La Tribune India

History of Innovation, together with Capgemini, hosted a Creative Thinking and Design Workshop on Robotics for the forerunner of the TIS Capgemini Innovate for Tomorrow competition, presented as part of the Pre India-Internet Governance Forum event. This opportunity allowed students in grades VIII to XII to interact with industry experts, gain insight into real-world challenges, and learn how robots can solve those challenges.
The virtual workshop was organized as a prelude to the Innovate for Tomorrow competition, scheduled for October 3 to 29. The competition invites students in grades VIII to XII to develop innovative solutions to a chosen problem through the use of technology.
There will be ten winners, including one winner, finalists and a 3rd place in each category + 1 victory by popular vote on Instagram.
Meenal Majumder, Founder of The Innovation Story said: âTomorrow’s reality is today’s innovation. The TIS Capgemini Innovate For Tomorrow competition organized as a pre-event at the IIGF is an opportunity for students to imagine and find innovative solutions for some of the challenges of the real world.
The pre-competition workshop was introduced and moderated by the students, who also introduced the notable speakers present including Mr. Asim Bhalerao, founder of Fluid Robotics, Mr. Tanuj Jhunjhunwala, co-founder of Planys Technologies and Dr Apurva Joshi, scientific researcher IIT Bombay.
