COVID-19-Wave 4: A Community Forum Moderated by CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini | WNTZ
Virtual forum set for Thursday August 5 at 4:30 p.m.
Alexandria, Louisiana – The CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini healthcare system continues to see an increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. On Thursday, August 5, at 4:30 p.m., the community is invited to join Dr. Jose Zapatero, Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini, for an update on COVID-19: The 4e Power surge and important information about the COVID-19 vaccine. Anyone who is struggling to get their COVID-19 vaccine or who wants more information about COVID-19 will have the opportunity to ask questions.
The CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Health System is committed to providing excellent care to all who request it. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have urged our communities to protect themselves, their loved ones and their neighbors. As we reopened across the country, some of the steps that were critical to slowing the spread have been relaxed and many have yet to be vaccinated. As a result, we are now experiencing this 4th push at the local and national level.
It’s not too late to help stop the spread of the virus:
• Get vaccinated
• Wear a mask
• Wash your hands often
• Practice social distancing
• Stay home if you are sick
