Council Rock Announces Community Forum Details with Finalist Superintendent
NEWTOWN – The Council Rock School Board will host a community forum with its finalist superintendent – Dr. Andrew J. Sanko – on Thursday, May 26 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Council Rock High School North, 62 Swamp Road, Newtown.
To allow for maximum community participation, the event will be live streamed, recorded and made available online. The link to view the event will be: https://Go.BucksIU.org/CRSD
In addition to Dr. Sanko’s introductory remarks, the forum will include a question-and-answer period moderated by Dr. Mark Hoffman, executive director of the Bucks Intermediate Unit.
Additionally, the Council Rock School Board welcomes input from district stakeholders on topics that should be covered in questions presented to Dr. Sanko. Community members are invited to submit up to two questions for consideration via the following survey on the website: https://Go.BucksIU.org/CouncilRockCommunityForum
Due to the number of anticipated questions, not all questions will be asked during the Community Forum. Instead, submitted questions will be organized by topic. Similar issues will be consolidated by these common themes to allow Dr. Sanko to address as many topics as possible during this Community Forum.
The format of the evening does not allow for questions or comments from the public during the forum itself. Instead, all questions must be submitted in advance using the link above. Dr. Sanko will receive a copy of all questions submitted. The Board chose this format to ensure that as many questions as possible could be asked by the moderator in the allotted time. Questions can be submitted until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24.
