Community Members Wanted for Wallaceburg Hospital Committee

The Chatham-Kent Hospital Group is seeking members to join a new committee to guide the next stage of design and planning for its Wallaceburg site.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has established a Community Building Advisory Committee as part of the redevelopment plan that has been drafted for Wallaceburg Hospital. The project is currently in the second stage of the province’s capital planning process.
The advisory group is meant to be a communication forum that will include people from the community, the hospital and other interested stakeholders, according to a press release from the hospital group.
The health alliance is looking for two community representatives from the Wallaceburg area.
“Interested applicants should reflect their interest in hospital and health care, and an ability to connect with the community on local and rural health issues,” the statement read.
Interested individuals must submit a resume by June 3 and participate in an interview process if selected.
Successful applicants will also be expected to adhere to standard health alliance volunteer protocols. Interested candidates can submit their resume to Aaron Ryan, Vice President of Performance and Chief Financial Officer, at [email protected]ckha.on.ca.
